蔡罕，男，汉族，1967年出生于浙江台州，历史学博士，新闻传播学博士后，浙江传媒学院公共艺术教育部教授，美术与书法专业硕士生导师，浙江省书法研究会主席团委员，2021-2025年浙江省高等学校文化素质教育指导委员会委员，第四届中华经典诵写讲大赛“笔墨中国”汉字书写大赛决赛评委。主要从事中国古代美术史、新闻史、书法美育研究，发表论文60多篇，出版有《北宋翰林图画院及其院画研究》《书法鉴赏》等10多部著作。主持国家社科基金重大项目“中国历代绘画大系”子项目《明画全集》第13卷“蓝瑛卷”、《清画全集》第6卷“恽寿平与常州画派卷”的编纂与研究工作。书法作品被浙江大学、杭州大剧院、杭州日报等单位收藏。
Cai Han (male, Han Chinese), born in 1967 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, holds a Ph.D. in History and completed postdoctoral research in Journalism and Communication Studies. He is a Professor in the Department of Public Arts Education at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications and serves as a Master's Supervisor in Fine Arts and Calligraphy. He is a member of the Presidium of the Zhejiang Calligraphy Research Association and served as a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Higher Education Cultural Quality Education Steering Committee from 2021 to 2025. He was also a final-round judge for the “Ink and Brush China” Chinese Character Writing Competition, part of the 4th National Chinese Classics Reading, Writing, and Speaking Competition.
Professor Cai's research focuses on the history of ancient Chinese art, the history of journalism, and calligraphy aesthetics education. He has published more than 60 academic papers and authored over ten books, including A Study of the Northern Song Hanlin Academy of Painting and Its Court Paintings and Appreciation of Chinese Calligraphy.
He has led the compilation and research of major sub-projects under the National Social Science Fund's key project The Complete Collection of Chinese Paintings Through the Ages, including Volume 13 of The Complete Collection of Ming Dynasty Paintings (Lan Ying Volume) and Volume 6 of The Complete Collection of Qing Dynasty Paintings (Yun Shouping and the Changzhou School of Painting Volume).
His calligraphic works have been collected by institutions such as Zhejiang University, Hangzhou Grand Theatre, and Hangzhou Daily.
