樊林1939年生，毕业于西安美术学院国画系。《黄河九曲渡万壑》，《北国风光》被中国画研究院和巜人民大会堂》收藏。人民美术出版社出版《中国近现代名家画集-樊林》（大红袍）。人民美术出版社签约画家。曾任人民美术出版社编审，中国美术家协会会员。德申智库艺术专家。
