杨剑，字贞生，号禅石、静远室、驾龙堂、曲驾轩、静远书庐、朴斋、邻松轩，1960年9月生，江西广丰人。曾问学于胡润芝、傅周海、钱君匋、洪丕谟等先生，先后师从陈振濂、韩天衡先生。现为江西省人民政府文史研究馆馆员、西泠印社社员、西泠印社美术馆顾问、中国书法家协会会员、中国计量大学客座教授、江西省书协原副主席、江右印社社长、上饶市书法家协会名誉主席、吴俊发艺术馆馆长。央视书画频道篆刻教学主讲嘉宾。
书法篆刻作品入展由中国书协、西泠印社主办的第三届中国书法兰亭奖艺术奖、全国第四届书法篆刻展览、首届国际书法大展、西泠印社第二届篆刻评展等百余次国内外重大展览。荣获第二届国际书法大展银奖、新世纪全球华人书法大赛银奖，“禅心古韵•杨剑金石拓片题跋书法展”荣登2020年度中国书法风云榜。《书法报》2012年12月19日在头版以“提名青年实力书家”作重点介绍；《中国篆刻》2020年第2期在封面作重点介绍；2019年4月在央视书画频道进行为期半月的电视篆刻教学。
2004年应泰国政府邀请，在曼谷市成功举办杨剑书法篆刻艺术展览。先后在浙江、福建、江西、广东等地举办：禅心古韵•杨剑金石拓片题跋书法展；禅心古韵•杨剑书法篆刻捐赠作品展；禅心是雪•杨剑书法篆刻艺术展；放歌武夷——杨剑书柳永词作品展；禅心印象•杨剑跋齐白石篆刻印拓作品展。

Yang Jian, courtesy name Zhensheng, with the artistic names Chanshi, Jingyuan Shi, Jialong Tang, Qujia Xuan, Jingyuan Shulu, Puzhai, and Linsong Xuan, was born in September 1960 in Guangfeng, Jiangxi Province. He studied under masters such as Hu Runzhi, Fu Zhouhai, Qian Juntao, and Hong Pimo, and later studied under Chen Zhenlian and Han Tianheng. Currently, he serves as a member of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government Institute of Cultural History, a member of the Xiling Seal Engravers' Society, an advisor to the Xiling Seal Engravers 'Society Art Museum, a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a visiting professor at China University of Metrology, former vice chairman of the Jiangxi Calligraphers Association, president of the Jiangyou Seal Engravers' Society, honorary chairman of the Shangrao Calligraphers Association, and director of the Wu Junfa Art Museum. He is also a keynote lecturer for seal carving education on CCTV's Calligraphy and Painting Channel.
His calligraphy and seal carving works have been exhibited in over a hundred major domestic and international exhibitions, including the Third China Calligraphy Lanting Award Art Exhibition organized by the China Calligraphers Association and Xiling Seal Engravers Society, the Fourth National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the First International Calligraphy Exhibition, and the Second Seal Carving Evaluation Exhibition of Xiling Seal Engravers Society. He has won the Silver Award at the Second International Calligraphy Exhibition and the Silver Award at the New Century Global Chinese Calligraphy Competition, while his exhibition "Zen Heart and Ancient Charm: Yang Jian's Calligraphy with Inscriptions on Stone Rubbings" was featured on the 2020 China Calligraphy Top List. The Calligraphy News highlighted him on its front page on December 19,2012 under the title "Nominated Young Talented Calligrapher"; China Seal Carving published him prominently on its cover in Issue 2, 2020; and he delivered a two-week television lecture series on seal carving for CCTV's Calligraphy and Painting Channel in April 2019.
In 2004, at the invitation of the Thai government, a successful exhibition of Yang Jian's calligraphy and seal carving art was held in Bangkok.
