白十源，男，回族，1962年生于北京，管理学硕士，坦博艺苑创始人，收藏家、慈善家、国际策展人，被称为“传统文化的守望者”和“新文明的使者”。现任中国社会艺术协会副主席，中国文化艺术发展促进会运营总监，北京市宗教文化研究会副会长，北京市海淀区对外友好协会副会长，北京市大兴区馆藏文化联盟副主席，浙江大学中国西部发展研究院特聘教授。
上世纪70年代末，白十源在国学大师、收藏大家王世襄先生的引导下，开始文物艺术品的收藏，40余年坚持不懈，所创办的“坦博艺苑”是知名的民营艺术博物馆。
除了收藏，白十源在国际文化活动领域也成绩显著。自2008年北京奥运会开始，一直是奥林匹克美术大会和奥林匹克博览会的策展人。同时他策展了一系列以丝路文明为主题的文物展，以古代八大文明（中华文明、两河文明、古埃及文明、古印度文明、古希腊文明、古罗马文明、古波斯文明及草原文明）的代表性器物印证古丝绸之路对文化交融互鉴、推动人类文明共同进步的历史作用。
在收藏和策展的基础上，白十源还热衷慈善，多次以其所藏精品向社会捐赠，体现收藏家的社会情怀。他被称为“传统文化的守望者”和“新文明的使者”。

1.收藏有大量丝绸之路古代八大文明的代表性器物。美轮美奂的宗教礼器、帝王珍宝、经典文献、生活器具，展现了丝绸之路上文化交流和通商活动给当时的社会所带来的影响和改变，是东西方文明互鉴、文化交融的实证。
2.收藏有世界最多的古代文献贝叶经。贝叶经是记录人类古代文明的重要载体，是世界公认的珍贵文化遗存、国家一级文物。白十源致力以其庋藏的贝叶经为基础，建立中国贝叶经博物馆和世界贝叶经研究中心。
3.收藏有大量最高水平的徽州古建筑。白十源在中国优秀的徽州古建即将被损毁的关键时期，保护性地购藏了一千多套富含中国儒、释、道哲学思想，以木雕、石雕、砖雕反映中国民间建筑艺术最高水平的徽州古建筑。
4.收藏有全球知名艺术家的大量重要艺术作品。白十源深入研究古今中外艺术大师的成功之路，提出选拔大师级艺术家的二十条标准。作为国际策展人，他持续策划、组织、承办了2008北京、2012伦敦、2014南京和2022北京的“奥林匹克美术大会”和多届奥林匹克博览会，在国际奥林匹克的舞台上创造了多项艺术领域中的世界第一。
Bai Shiyuan, male, Hui ethnic group, was born in Beijing in 1962. He holds a master's degree in management. He is the founder of Tanbo Art, a collector, philanthropist, and international curator. He is known as a 'Guardian of Traditional Culture' and 'Messenger of New Civilization'. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman of the China Social Arts Association, Operation Director of the China Arts and Culture Development Promotion Association, Vice President of the Beijing Religious and Cultural Research Association, Vice President of the Beijing Haidian District Foreign Friendship Association, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Daxing District Museum Collection Culture Alliance, and a specially appointed professor at the Zhejiang University China Western Development Research Institute.
Going back to the late 1970s, under the expert guidance of Mr. Wang Shixiang, a luminary in Chinese studies and an eminent collector, Bai Shiyuan embarked on his remarkable journey of collecting cultural relics and artworks. After over four decades of unyielding dedication, the “Tempo Art Museum” he established has blossomed into a highly reputable private art museum, standing as a paragon in the art world.
Beyond his remarkable achievements in collecting, Bai Shiyuan has also made significant strides in international cultural activities. Since the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he has consistently served as the curator for both the Olympic Fine Arts Conference and the Olympic Expo, applying his astute artistic vision and outstanding curatorial skills to add splendor to these grand events. Concurrently, he has meticulously curated a series of exhibitions centered around the Silk Road civilization. By presenting representative artifacts from eight ancient civilizations (Chinese, Mesopotamian, ancient Egyptian, ancient Indian, ancient Greek, ancient Roman, ancient Persian, and grassland civilizations), these exhibitions vividly depict the historical significance of the ancient Silk Road in fostering cultural exchange, mutual learning, and the common progress of human civilization, serving as a vivid window into the past.
Deeply rooted in his collecting and curatorial efforts, Bai Shiyuan is also wholeheartedly committed to philanthropy. On numerous occasions, he has generously donated many of his precious collections to society, thereby exemplifying the noble social responsibility of a collector. 1. His collection is a veritable treasure trove, housing a vast and diverse array of representative artifacts from the eight ancient civilizations along the Silk Road. The resplendent religious ritual objects, imperial treasures, classic literary works, and daily utensils offer a vivid tableau of the profound impact and transformation brought about by cultural exchanges and trade activities along the Silk Road. 2. He owns the world’s most extensive and significant collection of ancient palm - leaf scriptures. These scriptures, serving as invaluable repositories of ancient human civilizations, are globally recognized as precious cultural heritage and are classified as first - class cultural relics in China. Bai Shiyuan is committed to establishing the China Palm - leaf Scripture Museum and the World Palm - leaf Scripture Research Center based on his remarkable collection, with the aim of safeguarding and exploring this ancient wisdom.
3. At a critical juncture when many outstanding Huizhou ancient edifices in China were on the verge of destruction, he took decisive action to protectively acquire them. His collection now includes a large quantity of top - notch Huizhou ancient buildings that are imbued with the profound philosophical wisdom of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism and epitomize the zenith of Chinese folk architectural art through their exquisite woodcarving, stone carving, and brick carving. These buildings are not only structures but living embodiments of Chinese cultural heritage.
4. His collection also features a substantial number of important artworks by globally renowned artists. Bai Shiyuan has delved deeply into the success trajectories of artistic maestros, spanning different eras and regions. He has formulated twenty incisive criteria for identifying master - level artists. As an international curator, he has played a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and hosting the “Olympic Fine Arts Conference” in Beijing in 2008, London in 2012, Nanjing in 2014, and Beijing in 2022, as well as multiple Olympic Expos.
